The Joy of a Community
I was driving to visit my parents yesterday, and I kid you not, 3 times in the 15 minute car journey, while I was stopped at lights, the people in front of me wound down their windows and started waving or chatting to the car next to them.
3 different pairs of cars. 3 different sets of traffic lights.
People knew each other, and had a fun and playful chat between windows while the lights were red.
It reminded me of how small Perth is, and how easy it is to run into someone that you know.
Once upon a time I would have found this frustrating, but now I find it endearing. It's beautiful to create a community. It's so nice to be able to connect with your neighbours and know the people at the end of the street.
The reason I'm sharing this with you, is as we get closer to the new year, and with the Hump Day Hype Up activities for December being questions for you to ponder, my question for you today is:
How have your beliefs on something evolved?
Where in your life can you notice changes in the way you frame situations? Is there a perspective that you used to have that you've now noticed has evolved and changed to serve you more now?
Have a think about that today. Reflect on your own evolution.
As always, I love hearing from you so feel free to share your thoughts.
If you're looking for an evolution of yourself in 2025, a reminder that The Upgrade is launching in January.
My end of year special is still running, so you can email me back and I'll give you the exclusive access link for that if you're interested - make the most of it because it's 40% off the current investment.
Sending love,
Jade
