Happy Wednesday, everyone! 🌟 You know what Wednesday means? It’s Hump Day Hype Up! BrrrBrrrBRRRRRRR!!! (Thats my interpretation of a DJ festival air horn/siren going off as I shout ‘Hump Day Hype Up’).

Last week you were asked to share a song you love with someone. Gift those good beat vibes around.

As we discussed, the benefits of listening to joy inducing music are endless. I specifically reference joy inducing music because we’re talking about music that makes you happy. Music that makes you feel good. When a song puts a smile on your face right away you’re activating so many positive hormones, it’s genuinely beneficial for the long haul.

So how can we take last weeks challenge and make it even better? Thats what you’re here for right - to show up as your best self?

Let’s take things up a notch.

I know its Wednesday. You’re most likely at work. Sitting at your desk. Minding your own business. These days so many sit in open plan offices, so you have two choices this week:

  1. Accept this challenge solo, and place some headphones on

  2. Share this challenge with your colleagues and turn the volume up

So, you’ve selected your option - now what?

This week’s Hump Day Hype Up challenge: have a desk dance party!

You know what I mean. Get those arms flowing. Get that torso bouncing. Get your hips wriggling in your seat. We’re vibing to a banger, at your desk, and enjoying all the endorphins that come with listening to music and moving our bodies at the same time.

If you’re really wild, if you really want to shake this up and take it to the next level, stand up. Have a full blown office cubicle dance party. I absolutely encourage and endorse this.

Why a Desk Dance Party?

First off, let’s talk about why this is more than just a fun idea. Movement, even a quick burst of it, can have a profound impact on your mood and energy levels.
