The Secret About Post It Notes

I'm taking a guess here, but I'm assuming you've used a post-it note at least once in your life.

Those handy little sticky squares of paper that are used for the wildest different reasons. Have you seen this high school that used them for their 'muck-up day' prank?

Anyway, today I want to share with you how I use post-it notes in my life... yes, weirdly I do think it's worth discussing. What I regularly do, is share little moments of inspiration and reminders of what is most important to me on sticky notes across my office. When I hear a quote or learn a tool that kick starts my brain, it gets written on that tiny square for constant reading.

On my computer monitor, on my wall, and often just randomly stuck to my laptop are motivational pointers to give myself that little pep talk whenever I need it. I'm surrounding myself with constant reminders that I am capable and that I can do it.

Question of the Week:

What’s one way you can add more fun to your daily routine?

Activity of the Week:

Compliment Yourself: Write a post-it note with a compliment to yourself and put it somewhere visible.

When little tips like this, that are so easy but so often not discussed, have a huge impact on my life - I'm going to share them with you.

The reason this is so valuable is because when you're constantly reading these words to yourself, you're literally wiring your brain to pay attention and believe this about yourself. This is how neuroplasticity and brain training works - you're feeding the information directly to the source that needs to hear it.

So go give yourself a little pep talk. Write yourself some inspirational notes. Be your biggest cheerleader, all with the help of a tiny square of coloured paper.

Happy Hump Day my friend.
